wazzzzz up t-bone thanks... think im going to change out a couple of the bulbs its a little to white going to and 2 more blue plus bulbs and ace the aqua blues... still a little on the cloudy side i seem to get some air bubbles from one of the om 4ways not sure why its hard to tell if its bubbles or just small particles. the other thing I'm still torn about is the bb i think it would look better with a ssb but i don't want to risk scratching the tank...

me too damn what to do im prolly going to add the sand would look better... how deep is your sand bed? and what are you using?

that amount of rock looks good, wouldn't add anymore. As for the lighting, I think you are supposed to use about a ratio of 3:1 blue plus to aquablue special (I think - always get them mixed up, but its 3 of the bluer bulb to every one of the 11k bulb).

My sand bed is about 1". I forget which sand I used. I mixed 2 different kinds. It's one size up from the sugar sand.

i only have 2 aqua blues still i think im going to switch them out.
im really leaning towards sand i can always add it later... plus i can kinda hide the 90s in the front with sand..

nice aquascaping!!!
btw question: is there a method of curing marco rocks? if so can u please tell?

well most people just cure it like you would with live rock. some
soak in in ro/di for a week with a little vinegar then a few weeks
in salt water. i just threw it in will let it cure in the system thanks
for the complement

man help me out guys sand or no sand what do ya think i just know if i do im going to scratch the tank someone push me one way the other? if i do i was thinking a really small grade of crushed coral or poss mix it with some fine sand.....help help help
lol lol lol push off the fence either way...

I say go with the substrate.....I just think that barebottom looks fake. set it up with a nice 3-4" sandbed (I like aragonite) and I think it would look incredible.

had a dsb on my 180 the only thing i did not like was the ulgy brown and green algae etc in the front so i was thinking 1 or 2
inches tops...
