Ya, Derek told me about your tank also. Actually, mine is 680 gallons! What dimensions is yours?
Mine is 126 X 30 X 25H.

I know what you mean holding the stuff. It was a week longer than expected on the tank due to the euro getting tempered. Was holding everything from my 110 for 2+ weeks due to me selling it and getting all ready for the new tank. Lost a few small frags during this extra time. Could of been worse.
Two + weeks would have been a cake walk! Try 8 or 9 months. I previously ordered a tank from another place in March. The tank was promised not later than May 5th, but it didn't get here until June. For specific reasons the tank was supposed to have a divider for softies one third of the way in from the left side. It was going to be ran as two separate systems. When the tank arrived it was a perfect mirrored image of what it was supposed to be. The company would not work with me on correcting it so it went through a Credit Card Dispute which was settled in my favor. So, I am just now getting my tank.

The whole process was very time consuming and nerve wracking to say the least. After maintaining all this rock, sand, critters and extra equipment I had to buy to keep it in usable shape, I was about to the point that I was ready to chuck the whole hobby. The whole situation has been a nightmare. But, since I was finally able to order another tank, most of my excitement has returned.

How much did a tank that size cost you?
I am thinking about something around that size

Jason
The price depends on a number of things. You would have to talk to Derek, who by the way is a camp to work with and takes time to explain any thing to you that you may not understand.

A ball park figure would be 4 to 6 thousand dollars delivered.

What's the weight on that size tank? How many people are you planning to use to move it inside?
Derek was going to look it up and email me the weight. I am guessing around 900 lbs. We will have 8 to 10 people for unloading.

Cool, let me know when you find out. We'll be remodeling next year and a beastly tank like yours is in the works. The only thing steering me to acrylic is the weight.

I guess in your remodle process you will have to include beefing up the floor!

Guess more like 1800 LB empty!!!!!

The new tank arrived here Sunday evening on the 20th. And it looks great. I can hardly wait to strat ripping that wall out!

Below are clickable links to larger pictures of my new Miracles In Glass tank arrival. Thank you so much to all those that helped with the unloading!

The FishHead local helpers have names above them. Thanks again guys!

The front panel is Starphire. I tried to get a good picture to capture the difference.

I must say, nice looking tank. That truck looks farmilar!

Mine weighted about 1300 lbs, and it took about 8 big guys to lift it onto the stand.

I can't wait to see your on teh stand too! Good luck and keep us posted..

Unfortunatly, no updates.

To much going on with the holidays and just plain living. Some small holes were cut in the base of the wall to get measurments for the stand, other than that, nothing.

I am not well with the progress! I sure wish it was up and running! I wish I was half was as close as Bstone!!! Now that tank is the one that is a monster!
