My 57 gallons - Closed loop system

Very cool build. I like how clean it looks with the closed loop and all the plumbing hidden like that.

First, this is such a genius and beautifully designed reef/system and I think we all appreciate you sharing this with us. Second, I'd like to as if you could take a picture of the bottom of the tank to show the plumbing near the drilled holes and how the drain/return is plumbed.

As my aquarium was mounted on a stone base, my installation of drains and return were made internally, so impossible to take pictures now.

Basically the system is below this. The drawing does not show, but the center of the aquarium has a hole for the installation of closed-loop.

Wow, what an amazing setup! The overflows and closed loop system are just genius. I love your aquascape as well. Simple and minimalistic is my favorite.

Your orange shoulder tang is beautiful. Do you happen to have a current picture of it? And can you comment on how fast it has grown, and what/how often you feed it? I am curious because they are not as commonly kept as many other tangs and I just got one myself. I could only find a tiny one that is about the size of a table tennis ball though, so I am hoping that they grow quickly.

My Orange shoulder is growing very fast, it's a beautiful fish that is already beginning the process of color change. Food it 3 or 4 times daily with meals varied, dehydrated seaweed, food flaked, granulated feed the basis of spirulina, .....

On the caps on the return of the closed loop, did you silicone the rocks and substrate in place so they wouldn't blow off?

returning the water to the sump, passes through a mechanical filter that helps to keep clean sump, and prevent splashing and reduce noise.
