First, this is such a genius and beautifully designed reef/system and I think we all appreciate you sharing this with us. Second, I'd like to as if you could take a picture of the bottom of the tank to show the plumbing near the drilled holes and how the drain/return is plumbed.
Keep the pictures and updates coming. I'd love to hear more about your dosing and sump area as well!
Very genius plumbing set up!
Wow, what an amazing setup! The overflows and closed loop system are just genius. I love your aquascape as well. Simple and minimalistic is my favorite.
Your orange shoulder tang is beautiful. Do you happen to have a current picture of it? And can you comment on how fast it has grown, and what/how often you feed it? I am curious because they are not as commonly kept as many other tangs and I just got one myself. I could only find a tiny one that is about the size of a table tennis ball though, so I am hoping that they grow quickly.![]()
Would love to see update SPS coral photos please.![]()
Very cool build. I like how clean it looks with the closed loop and all the plumbing hidden like that.
Wow never seen anything like this. Looks so clean and tidy. Great concept and beautiful tank. Thanks for sharing.
Very very beautiful tank! Thanks for posting updated pics.![]()
This. Is. Awesome.
The plumbing is definitely cool.
On the caps on the return of the closed loop, did you silicone the rocks and substrate in place so they wouldn't blow off?
How does your overflow into the sump work? I was looking at your pics and it looks pretty nifty. Some sort of bubble diffuser/silencer contraption?
Wow, she really is a beauty! Thank you for the picture and the info. I feed mine about the same, so I'm sure she'll be as big as yours before long!Do you feed her by hand, or does she just come up to beg when you put your fingers in the tank?
