Yes, I started using carbon again, around .75-1 pound on my 125.Are you running activated carbon/GAC? At the start of the thread you mentioned that you stopped running that because the corals were pale etc. IF you havent resumed GAc/carbon usage, will you do so at some point?
I'm wondering how you deal with the yellowing of the water. Thanks.
Thank you. Those 2 were big time sleepers, finally found a good spot for the pretty in pink and it has never looked better and it is still getting better. The Crimson I've had for 2 years. Haven't seen another piece like it.Still continue to show such amazing sps and photography skills. The amount of different pigments you manage to get out of, and capture, from each acro is stunning. The crimson and pretty in pink are killer
Thanks Nate, it takes a lot of patients, and a lot of trial and error to get everything perfect. Still not where I want to be yet, I am fine tuning things a bit now and just gonna let everything sit back grow and color up.Hung, I continue to drool over every single picture you post! Obviously you have the special sauce my friend. The perfect match of biology, technology, and artistic touch. You weren't kidding when you chose your handle. Hats off.
Sure I can send my schedule just send your email. Radions and t5 would work good, but if you were I'd maybe hold back on the radions as the g4s may come out soon, but I haven't heard anything yet. I'd use 2 blue plus, 1 purple and 1 actinic plus the radion.Amazing collection!!
What do you think about radion g2 pro combined with 4 t5 in a 93 gallon tank? You have said t5 get best colors, but I would like to know your opinion about this mix. Your intuition i mean. And what combination of t5 you'd choose?
Could you pass me your radion configuration please? (I will send you my email if you are agree)
Congratulations!!!
T5 would be the best, 1 radion would not cover a 36 inch tank well unless it is suspeneded high up. I used 2 over my 30x30x24.Related to my previous post, which option do you recomend to go if i want a full acropora system? (36x28x21)
A) 1 radion g2 pro + 4 t5 39w
B) 10x39w Ati powermodule
Thanks!
Yea, the pretty in pink did not do much until I moved a piece under t5s. I dose some kz products and that does seem to help with colors. I haven't tested po4 in about a month, I usually estimate depending on the amount of algae is growing. I run a high nutrient system.Amazing collection! Any tips on getting those colours to really come out? comparing your early pics of things like Pretty In Pink to the later ones, it's almost hard to believe they're the same pieces.. Where do you keep your PO4 levels?
Thanks the Hades is one my favorite and most unique pieces I have. Under t5 it is a deep red with bright yellow tips and under the radion it is orangey red, with slight yellow tips but the polyps are beautiful under the radions they almost glow, and stick out under the blues.Looking fantastic, as always, Hung!
Love the hades
Thanks.just read the whole thing......simply amazing corals and pictures.
Haven't had the time for an updated fts yet but I will get one soon. Colony shots I can get. Anyone in particular?can you post pictures of the colonies and FTS?.... please:fun4:
