Ok I stacked my first tank last week. It took me about 4 hours and I was not at all happy with it. So I bought about 25 more pounds of nice branchy rock from reefdogg (thanks steve!), took everything out and started from scratch. And in about an hour I was much much happier. Still have a few tweaks to do but over all I am pretty happy. Please let me know what you think.
Thanks!
Joel

looks great, lots of spots to put corals and plenty of oppening for the fish o swim thru and hide in!! And big enought so as your fish get bigger they still have room. keep us updated!! I see you have a t tek lights also. I upgraded my power compacts and love my tek 5!!!! Puts off nice colors and works great with not a lot of heat either!!!!

it looks like you have some nice rock and a good setup.

Now wait untill you find that perfect coral that you just NEED to have, and the tank gets a makeover to make some room. I find myself changing my tank almost every time i buy new coral...

I think it looks great! Can you still get everywhere with the magnet cleaner? Seems like some of those rocks are very close to the glas...

Nice job, especially with it being your first "rodeo"....should be quite interesting when you start to place your corals in the tank, should have lots of options.

Thanks everyone! The first stack two days before this one was crazy because I was trying to not lean any rock on the glass even in the back of the tank :-) so it was like making a house out of a deck of cards... ahhhh! Then after another trip to the reef shoppe to study Tom's work :-) and 25 more pounds of some nice branchy rock that locked together much better I realized that its a lot easier using the back glass and the overflow. It literally only took me about an hour. I set up a nice big table in the living room to play around with the rock before placing it in the tank. That worked well too. I do have one spot in the front left bottom corner of the tank where I can't fit the magnetic cleaner so I will be moving that today or tomorrow. So far I have an anemone that came on one of the rocks I got from reefdog, two clown fish, a kole tang, and a nice little clean up crew. I am going to primarily do soft corals. I really like torches and other stuff with nice movement.

I love that style of stacking. Nice and open with lots of caves for the fish. Good job!! Really make me want to redo my stack.
