I have a couple more questions for you if you dont mind me asking.
1. if i still keep me DSB would i be able to do zeo reactor and finsh using my biodigest and biotim and then switch to bac and food when prodibio is gone. I do use zeostart2 right now.
2. I was wondering if after only a week of T5 lighting, would my calc(2-part) demands have to increased(90 to 180ml) just to keep it above 400. Would my coral react that fast to the lights(growth wise) that quickly. I was a constant 90ml per day plus 5 gallons of kalk top off per day for about 6 months. Since the day after i switched the lights i have noticed i have had to increase the calc(2-part) everyday. I use to have 2x400 MH 14000 on there.

Hi Steve

1) IMHO - I cant see why not. How long have you got stocks of Digest and TPIM for? Would be interesting to run those with zeolites for long enough before comparing with zeo bac and zeofood7.
2) Wow - going from how many watts per square meter to how many? I dont see why the sps wont react quickly to an increase in light intensity - but is it an increase in intensity? A doubling of CA uptake is going some....! Is that the only change you've made?

all i added was 6 more T5 and took off the MH. same light setup as iwans. I did drop in watts when i switched. that was the only change made

I see what you mean about growth tips after a short time on T5s - thats a remarkable reaction. Are you missing the glitter lines from MH at all?

I think Iwan posted a few pages ago that he's no longer posting on this thread. His new one is 'A new reef arrises', but he hasnt been on there a while either. I expect his options are internationally sought after now. so he doesnt have as much time? He not posting much on the German language bit of zeoland either - why not email him from his swiss site?
