Dayum Josh!! The tank looks fantastic! :inlove: And bryopsis free ;) :D Bet you're happy about that lol. I just wish payless would ship to Australia, I have to try and convince my doc that I need fluconazole now if I want any haha

It's fantastic! I can't believe it honestly, thank god for the internet, who the heck would've thought?? Good luck getting some, do you have bryopsis in your tank? I hope not. :(

Looking great. [emoji106]

Thanks, now it's time to sit back and let them color up and grow, no more big changes! :D Some of the pieces are still looking quite dreadful so hopefully in a month or so they'll show some progress.

I decided to not dose a form of no3 (for now), and decided to start broadcast feeding reef chili to see if that'll help colors and growth. I am also considering adding KZ Pohl's Xtra Special to my arsenal to dose alongside the Sponge Power that I'm already dosing if I don't see a significant change in a month or so. I'm open to other ideas if anyone want's to talk me out of going this direction, just thinking out loud. :)

loving the tank! seems like everything is going great for you!

Interested to see how the reef chili does for you and if you do add the Pohls Xtra Special to see if you see any major differences. I am using acropower right now but I may change

Yeah I've been following the various threads and it blows my mind how well it's worked! I've got some little patches here and there but nothing major yet lol I just want to knock it on the head before it gets bad lol also getting some vibrant to get the bubble algae too lol

If you're going to use Phols xtra, may I recommend using B-Bal in combination as I got amazing colours when dosing the two! Lol

Is going to a vet the only way to get Fluconazole? Could you post a pic of the bottle that it came in for reference. Have a small patch that I have been trimming for a few months now and nothing I have tried will kill it so this my be the final attempt.. Thanks

Slowly getting back on track, thanks! :)

I'll definitely keep you updated, I like acropower but it's not concentrated enough which makes it an expensive choice for me.

Awesome Josh, just caught up. One dose and boom! Latest FTS looks terrific.

Thanks Mark, it's absolutely crazy, I'm so happy about it! :D

Thanks for the suggestion Dom, I'll definitely consider picking the pair up in the future if I find it to be necessary.

No, you would be lucky to find a vet to listen to you, most just give you a simple "we don't treat fish" answer. I was very lucky to find one to prescribe me interceptor, the same place that I went denied another person the same thing. Luckily there's a few websites that sell "Fish Flucon" which is perfectly fine to purchase without a prescription, the link below is where most are getting theirs.

Tank looks great! Can't see a speck of algae other than coralline!

:) I'm happy to report that that's still the case. Vibrant and fluconazole are perhaps the best things ever for annoying algaes, sadly vibrant can be really bad on your livestock, but it works!

Got in two blue LED "T5" bulbs today, the Biotek version from Aquarium Specialty. First impression, they look amazing! I've never ran a sunrise/sunset because I didn't like the idea of running blue plus bulbs longer and burning them out quicker, plus the blue pop from them just wasn't enough to warrant it in my opinion. These were exactly what I wanted and at a great price too. Hopefully they work well long-term and my SPS do well under them, that's the main thing. :)

I plan on doing a photoshoot tomorrow, lots of growth on most pieces but color for the most part is still being elusive... I really just think they need more time, they've all been through multiple issues and I'm hoping that patience is the answer. I'm slowly seeing color return, and by slowly I do mean slow, but it's coming which is why I think things just need time. I'll probably buy a frag pack from Adam soon because I feel like I deserve some new acros and I've been wanting a reason to "move on" from a few of the under preforming pieces that just haven't done well in my tank since the beginning.

Picture update. Colors still haven't fully returned but progress is being made so for now I'm taking the slow and steady approach, waiting can be the hardest thing in this hobby. I did add two BioTek 20k (blue) LED "T5" bulbs to my 8x54 SunPower, so far I'm in love with them, but I'll have to figure out how to take photos in my tank again. :p These will do for now.

What leads you to believe that Vibrant is really bad on livestock? What livestock in particular? I've followed the Vibrant thread and I've been dosing for about 2 months now, weekly, and I've not seen any downsides (other than having to dose KNO3 to keep nitrates up) to the product personally nor have I seen really bad effects from others perspectives as well.

All of my acros and maybe even my magnifica responded negatively to it and there have been other users with similar experiences to mine, I dosed for over two months myself and this has just been my experience. I think my issue mostly stemmed from my dosing regimen of 3x a week instead of the 2x that they suggested, so mostly my fault for experimenting. However, I know of a few others who followed the instructions for bryopsis treatment and they also had issues (not as severe), and I believe that (last I heard) UWC was going to lower the dosing amount due to the issues some users were having. Regardless it's a great product, but without close examination of your nutrients it can be very potent.

Hey Josh, great colors, glad to see you're bouncing back :)
Quick question, what's the coral in the 7th picture? The green and blue. I really like it and would love to buy it from wherever you got it :))

Looking really good! Nice pe on most and good colour generally.
So, you have finished with both fluco and Vibrant?
They look like they really cleaned up your tank..
Now that you are done, if you are.. just curious about where nutrients are now going and what, if any algeas are popping up again..

I would guess that it is a beautifully polyped but slightly Vibrant induced pale bonsai..
