I don't know how 10 days could be enough when the normal lifecycle of cryptocaryon is up to 28 days. I would treat for 4 weeks to be safe.
I think I read that chloroquine phosphate makes the cures Ich differently than what copper dies it cause the Ich not to attach to the body?

how many mg/gal are you dosing?
i did a 50% water change and added carbon. I am going to see if my regal angels will eat again...they stopped eating after i dose CP..when do you think i should start again?
Some ?s
Are you using CP in your DT with LR? If so, are there any corals/inverts present?
FOWLR
Did your CP come from Fishman Chemical?
Yup
What are you treating for? Ich? Velvet?
Ich and Uronema
To Psionicdragon:
I also wouldn't trust any CP from Fishman Chemical. Based on anecdotal reviews, it seems likely some bad batches have come from them. This deeply saddens me because it's something like this which can quickly derail the comeback of an otherwise very promising med. You need to get your hands on pharmaceutical grade 99% pure CP.
....And I bought some on ebay, maybe that wasn't a good idea after reading through most of this.
I've been scanning this thread for info about chloroquine phosphate use for flukes, anyone have experience?

+1
I had poor results from using CP from Fishman. Crypt actually re-emerged when I dosed it. Once I switched to pharmaceutical grade (got a script from my vet filled at a local compounding pharmacy), the spots went away, never to return. If you don't want to use a vet, I posted a link to a source from Alfa Aesar (chemical supply company) a couple pages back.
Speaking of which, does anyone know what happened to alprazo? The system says he hasn't been logged in since 7/18/2013. His input is missed!
