my LFS got in some really nice clams, some dersa and some crocea(sp) that are a really cool purple that my sig other has decided i MUST now add to my tank.
i have a 46 gallon bowfront 36x20x18 w 4x55 PC lighting.
realizing that i will have to eventually go to MH, will my current lighting be ok for 'young' clams?

"Young" clams do not need significantly less light then "old" clams. Old or young, they need the MH.

thats kinda what i figured, i just dont have the ability to put any MH in my setup right now.

guess i will just take the abuse
