Plant roots are deffinetly strong but I wonder how they would break the glass.... Maybe wedge in the siliconed edges??

Tree roots are very strong. Mangroves get real big.

great progress Chuck, what part of your system will you be placing them in?
Most of them will go in the refugium sections of the sumps once they have gotten a little taller. Until then, they will be in the return section which is open and am able to float them in styrafoam supports.

Thank goodness my sump/refugiums are all acrylic..... I plan on keeping them prunned.

I got a call from the LFS telling me that they got in some things I should stop in and take a look at. BIG mistake, left with more than I should have. The best find in the group was a juvenile Mystery Wrasse about 2" in length. I took a few pictures of it in the bags incase it decided to head for the rocks once released. I did manage to get a couple of shots while it was in the corner before it had time to explore the rest of the tank. I was glad to see that none of the other wrasses in the tank seemed to mind the addition.

Not sure of the name of this one, but was warned that it would hide in the rocks. Sure enough, it headed straight for them so these may be the only shots of the fish in my tank.....

I'm so happy to report that after letting the fish go in the tank two hours ago, I now can't find any sign of them in the tank..... (I did see a few of the Anthias hiding in the rocks).

At least with tangs, they don't disappear as fast.......

Beautiful fish! And that is indeed a bad thing about a BIG tank. It's rare to see everything at once. But that's part of the fun of it. It's like seeing a new tank each and every day, with different fish swimming around.

i have a hard time locating livestocks in my reef too :D. yes that's why i tried to stay away from LFS, and mystery wrasse is sweet. i think its normal for anthias to hide for few days.

Just do a head count while feeding. That's what I try to do.

So you don't quarantine any of your new arrivals?
