These are all just the first day shots! I have already modded the hood with a fan and am in the process of trying to figure out some new lighting. I'm thinking LED Anyone Got Any Ideas?

I believe the tank is 2 Gallons Small Yes I know. But the pictures make the clown look big. I'm just doing this for now until I get a bigger home for him. Or I get a smaller fish!

did you cycle that tank before you threw in thazt clown? If not hes probably going to die. Once you get die off from your LR and cycle spikes the levels are goingto be way outa whack and he wont make it

Well Yes It was cycled water and Live Curred Rock & Sand . Little "Nemo" has been in there a week and has been fine. Any ideas on light thought?

okay so i'ma type this, and you BETTER DO IT, cause i dont like typing for no reason.

lose the filter pad (collects debris and turns them into nitrates, which = BAD)
lose the biowheel (produces nitrates, isnt beneficial in saltwater)
lose the hood, replace with retrofit power compact, 27-55 watts should be enough
get a test kit, test ur water and parameters
lose ur clown, get 1 goby and a couple sexy shrimps.

your tank is WAY too small for anything more. just put some zoos, softies, mushrooms and u'll be fine. lose the ugly blue top and the even uglier background you have. go get some krylon spray paint and paint it either flat black or dark blue (dark blue looks nice)

u'll need a magnet cleaner in a while, get maybe 5 hermits and about 5 snails and once u lose the hood, get a powerhead.

i dont see a heater? get a 50 watt heater... and as ur doing all of this, just go pay 11 bux at petco and buy a 10 gallon tank, get a 55watt PC and u'll be MORE than happy, and u can put 2 clowns and a cleaner in there.

small tanks for the inexperienced = not good.

i've had my 40 gal tank for a year without a filter system (only protein skimmer) and i do water changed about once a month. no sponge, filter pad has ever touched my water, and it is CRYSTAL clear. but once u take off ur hood and get a heater, get a powerhead to keep up water circulation so ur **** dont die. oh and did i mention upgrade to a 10 gallon and u'll be happier? the smaller the tank, the faster **** happens, and the faster **** happens the worse its going to be. big tank = more stable, changes occur slowly, minimal affect.

my .02c

Thanks I like that idea.
It's just that I saw it and had to have it. I am working on plans for a 10 Gallon now. You say now filter if I only have a few fish like 3 to 4 with at leats 2 being Clown in a ten Gallon?
That would be great.
Also I did a test on my current and everything looks OK so far. See what the guy at the pet store was saying was I'll lose a 1/2 a cup to evaporation a day and by replacing it each after noon should be good for awhile but now I see he could be wrong.
SO what all should I put in the ten?
Opps almost forgot that backgroung is getting worked on I havn't found any paint that anyone said would work with Arcylic that they know of. Thanks for you input!

One Problem I live In GA there Are None Here!! Darn As A Matter of fact I only know of one Petsmart annd two LFS and thats it! :mad2:

how big is that tank? the fish doesnt look too happy without a partner + his anemone...

Please don't get an anemone. That tank is way too small, and more importantly, way too new. The tank should be six months old, minimum, and perfect water parameters. If you do decide to get an anemone after six months, please do lots of research in the anemone forum, and know their requirements. I personally wouldn't put an anemone in a 10 gallon, but many do.

Unfortunatly That Petco is over 4 Hours away but there is one about an 1 1/2 away at Florida border. As for the anemone I don't think I'm ready for that. At least not unilt I con move up to like a 55 Gallon or so. Thanks for the Info.

No offense, but you're not ready for anything living yet. Take "Nemo" back and do some research while your tank cycles. I realize your LFS probably told you everything you've done so far is good and that's both good and bad. Bad because they're idiots. Good because you learned early not to trust anything they say. Research everything before you do anything in this hobby and it will save you a lot of time, hassle, money, and lost lives.

I shure have learned alot. I think I'll just get the small Goby like mentioned earlier. Everything is already cycled though I bought it like that. It had been setup for 3 months running before I bought it. When it left the LFS the only thing new was the carbon filter. Thanks for the input.
