My new Gig, how often to change water?

I tested the water this afternoon. The salinity went from 1.25 to 1.28 over 3 days. So I added some fresh RO water. Within 20 minutes, it deflated, the mouth opened a little it. I tested the salinity, it went down to 1.25. This is the first time I saw it deflated. I was like OH NO NO NO. Shyt...what do I do?
I gave my son a shower, tucked him in and came back 2 hours later. It has balled up and looking good again...phew!!! It hasn't tried to move away from the light today.
Now, how do I get it to walk out of the pyrex bowl?

If it deflated it needs cipro, asap.

Some people might turn that bowl over, give it a perch, they usually like to be high up in column for max light, and the glass bowl will be east to detach it from, and should keep it in one place.

Ya, I started Cipro treatment this morning (dark cycle). It deflated and reinflated several times last night. Poor thing.

They usually respond well to cipro, don't be surprised to see it look great one minute, deflate and look horrible the next, but eventually if you follow treatment protocol it should recover.

By the way, if the water is clear, do I do 100% or 50% water change?

What I do is tie it in w/ WC from my tank, pretty much 100%

Always do a 100% water change when during Cipro treatment. If the water becomes cloudy, multiple 100% water changes may be required. The goal is to remove as much of the pathogen as possible. Oftentimes the sick nems will expel dead zoox that look like brown pellets. These should be removed immediately.

After you stop treatment, assuming all is well, then you can drop down the water changes to 50% while the nem remains in QT.

Yeah, you'll most likely see the obvious need for WC's very soon, it starts to look funky pretty quick, of course don't wait to see that before doing them.
