My peninsula tank build 72x30x30

I would try to get the most quiet equipment (pump and skimmer) due to the proximity of the tank to the couch. Reeflo pumps are rather quiet and efficient

Maybe insulation underneath will help also. That egg crate stuff

Keep the pics coming ( ;

Lol I got a water blaster 7000 and I'm using it submersible.. The only thing that's fairly loud is the mp40s.. But I can live with it I'll post more pics tonight hopefully I'll be finishing some of the trim today

And as far as skimmer got the sro xp 5000 not sure how quiet they are haven't seen one running in person

Sounds good. I got the SRO 3000. It was loud until I added long tubes to the air holes on the venturi. Maybe yours is similiar

Just received my sro xp5000 from fed ex and it's massive lol.. Thanks to blackthundas thread I also put some window tint on the back glass where the overflow is.. looks real clean.. I'll post up some pics later

use a zipline affect across the top of the tank, with a tension rod. with this you can add lighting or move lighting with one finger. with the zipline and tension with help keep light level and stable. can you hooks on light to zipline. 18 to 24 inch for ht of lights.

Thanks for the lighting suggestion but I purchased a set up from 80/20 that looks real clean and I can move the radions around..
