Display tank is definately gonna be overhauled Cully. We plan on doing something really unique with it. Thanks for the kind words everyone. We'll always help you guys out in anyway we can :)

Aha. So you do get on here. Good to see here. I really appreciated your assistance while I was there. Wonderful store! I'm not yet sure if we'll be up tomorrow.

OK, I don't pay so to much attention to names, but the first is a "Pearl Berry Acropora" and maybe Jeremy can help me out with the name of the second SPS.

Pearl berry is BY FAR my nicest ORA coral. The coloration once it colors up and grows is insane.

I think the 3rd one is a borealis, roscoes, or one of those ones. There's like 4 ORA corals that look the friggin same to me, despite having different names. Anyway you slice it though, it grows out and looks nice!

Solid pick ups. If my tank wasn't doing so crappy right now, I'd have snagged em for the price you picked em up at.

I almost bought that Pearl Berry too but I just don't have anymore room for SPS. So I bought a few lps instead :) That Pearl Berry was a sweet deal!

The other one is the frogskin acropora. That's the new one from ORA.

Oh cool. I found out this about it...

Here's a brief description of their new release from ORA. I personally think it's a very nice piece.

"The ORA Frogskin Acro has yellowish green coloration and extremely bumpy texture. The corallites are rotund and tubular and some of the polyps have a slightly blue hue.

The branches have the stockiness of Oregon Tortuosa, but as the colony grows, the branches fuse together similar to A. solitaryensis and form a thick, massive plate.

The color intensity of this coral naturally varies with light intensity. Currently the color is a light yellowish green due to the seasonal increase of light. Under the more stable light conditions found in aquariums, the yellow becomes very bright green and shaded areas have an almost purplish tone.

This coral has been a longtime favorite of Dustin's Because of its unique growth form. ORA's Frogskin Acro is sure to add substance to every customer's tank!"

and here is a pic of the thing once it grows out...

I'll be working on getting a few frags going, It will be my luck that they will become my favorites and I will lose them some how. I will need some one local to buy them back from:-)

west side of Syracuse

527(?) charles ave syracuse 13209 for mapquest purposes.
Can anyone confirm that address and does anyone have any more information: phone number, website, etc.? Google maps has nothing for ABC Reefs.

Where did this place come from and how long has it been there?

I was living in NJ for a year or two and just moved back to the Syracuse area, I don't remember hearing about this place, I'll have to check it out.
