My upgrade to 375 gallons

Well after lots of planning and a bit of renovations and a lack of planning...lol We are upgrading from our 200 gallon in wall reef tank
To a new 375 gallon three side viewable tank.

With QT and sump and clown and frag tanks a total of 580 gallons of water in the new setup.

More info need please :) I am about to start a build with the same size tank. 96X30X30 and could use some more pointers.

HERE ARE THE SPECS FOR THIS SYSTEM.

Tank dimensions 84x32x32 with external overflow on one end

low iron glass (starphire)

three sides viewable.

50 gallon clown tank plumbed into the system

35 gallon frag tank or grow out tank as I'm gonna build a seperate system for frags.


140 gallon sump with two seperate areas for diferent types of macro.


dart return pump

dart closed loop with ocean motion with revolutions.

two tunze 6060 for additional flow.

three lumenarc pendents with 250 watt de bulbs run by ice cap balasts.

two 20k geismans and one 14k pheonix

I have t5's giesmans atinic bulbs with a icecap 660 just havn't got them hooked up yet.

H&S A250-2x1260 skimmer plumbed off its own 1" drain from the overflow.

200lbs of ocean direct sand in the display.

aprox 400lbs of rock in the display and another 150 lbs in the sump and clown tanks.

Aquatronica controler that is running everything from lights to topup.

Mrc calcium reactor.

Mrc phosphate reactor.



stuff I still need to get carbon reactor.

400watt MH to replace the middle light on the display (possible)

kawakser of some make.

plus everything else I havn't thought of yet,or forgot to mention...lol
