Tank looks great! Why don't you get the DT in your living room? I think the wife wishes I had mine in the basement sometimes but soon to be sump/fuge in basement so she cannot complain too much right? With it in the living room you could at least sit back and enjoy it!

The last tank I have in the family room almost got me kill. One of the close-loop gasket was bad and drain half a tank onto the brand new wood floor we just put in :eek2: I have been banished to the garage since then

My new tank will be in the garage as well. I want to keep the tank out of her sign because she will ask how much this and that cost . If i am lucky enough, i may be able cut a hole on the wall so i can view the 48" width of the tank from inside the house. I will look for a house with 3 cars garage so i can turn one of them into my little hang out space with two part epoxy floor, a couch, coffee table and may be a small fridge for my reef stuff as well as Heineken :lol:. Everything still in a planning stage at this point till i move next year.

A few changes have been make to setup. Got me a couple of this light. 400 Watts MH with 4 T5s and 4 moonlights.

I hear you It is been working fine for me, until she saw the boxes the light came in. I think the light cost me about $200 ish, right :lol: (stick to this story, please)
Also, make sure you get a sofabed It make life easier...
