New Anemone ID

Foot look pretty white and a little bumpy.
Can;t get pick because it is between rocks.
Any other angle is pretty tough I will try

I agree that a better picture is needed but it looks like a LTA. M. doreensis that is in poor condition, bleached. It shoud have redish foot on the bottom and whithish on top with white verucae near the top.

I was afraid of that.
Will have to do research on optimals for this specied now.
I have been giving it good flow. Seems to be content on where it is only been 24 hours though

I am with Minh, looks like a lta.I would offer it mysis, the smaller food is easier to digest. It is bleached but with good water perimeters and lighting it should color back up.

Trying to find out what sort of flow it likes.
near the top of my tank 4X t5 10000k 2actinic.
1 hr actinic - 10hrs all - 1 hr actinic

From the looks of it so far, until you can capture a better photo... +1 to the above quote.

Still wide open looks good but food is still not being consumed??
WHy??? NORMAL??
Can't get a better pick from where it is in my tank

Don't fee it yet until he settle in. Start with really small food sixe of a fly or less. Once he eat those, you can feed him larger food. Anemone like small foods IMO.

There is a small piece of silverside sitting on his mouth. maybe pinky nail size.
Wish I new that before reading post earlier.
Should l try to take away or just leave it. He grabbed it and has been sitting there for three hours now. Please let me know.
Thanks again

o.k. it sout
next steps.
1) wait a week and feed something different?? raw shrimp
2)any signs it is ready to feed?
3) trying to do research on this species and nothing looks great.
4) Just glad it looks fairly healthy other than bleaching, Some tentacles shrivel up from time to time and then expand again. always open though

My apologies as it seems that you were misguided by my previous post. As Minh mentioned, most nems, especially those that are bleached or acclimating, should only consume very small particle food. Only when it's settled in should you feed it larger foods, but even then I would keep it down to about the size of a pencil eraser. Others may disagree, but I firmly believe that feeding nems silversides is a no-no. I occasionally feed my gigantea salmon chunks soaked in Selcon (though rare since I want to keep its size down). Otherwise it eats whatever food floats into it -- I feed my tank Rods Food.
