New fish advise

Looking to add couple more fish to my existing reef tank and could do with some advise.

This is my first reef tank (125G) and coral wise its stocked with softies and LPS corals - its aquascaped in such a way to allow for LOTS of swimming room and good water flow. Its been running for 6 months now and I have the following fish (all model citizens):

4 Lyretail Anthias
Bicolor angel
Cherub angel
mccosker flasher wrasse
x2 clowns
Green chromis
Helfrichi Firefish
YWG

Various shrimp, hermits, snails and an emerald crab.

I was thinking about adding some of the following:
Powder Blue Tang
Yellow Tang
x2 Banner fish
Flame Angel
Marine Betta
Aus Harlequin Tusk (bit of a gamble I know but an amazing looking fish).
Regal Angel (I don't think I'm quite ready for a fish this difficult but if one happened to appear on divers den I would consider it).

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Banner fish get too large for a 125g. Do one tang or the other. Flame or Regal not both especially with current angels. Side note a regal may never acclimate if the other angels are aggressive. Tusk is no more risk than a bicolor.

Powder Blue Tang - You'd regret adding this fish I bet
Yellow Tang - Perfect
x2 Banner fish - Hardy, fast growth rate, and active (I'd just get 1 though for 125g)
Flame Angel - Good, but the cherub and bicolor may beat up on it
Marine Betta - Perfect, just be sure to target feed if he's too shy to venture out during feeding time.
Aus Harlequin Tusk (bit of a gamble I know but an amazing looking fish) - Amazing looking fish but I've seen them eat crabs, shrimp, gobies, chromis, and anthias (I'd bet your helfrichi would be toast)
Regal Angel (I don't think I'm quite ready for a fish this difficult but if one happened to appear on divers den I would consider it) - If they're captured and handled well they're not too bad, but they are shy in the presence of other more aggressive angels/tangs (i.e. bicolors & cherubs).

Great setup you have. I'm considering getting a Cherub Angel and would like to know how aggressive yours is?

Thanks.

I have one bicolor and one pbt. The pbt if u get it make sure its the last fish u get, one blue green chromis and one diamondback goby have died most probably dead due to snowflake eel, but the pbt along with my clarkiis have been bullying the other fish ever since.
Do your Cherub and Bicolor live in peace? Since im very interested in getting a cherub angel, but im scared my bicolor will attack him. Could u give me ur opinion and experience please thanks

Thanks - he is a model citizen and I have not had any aggression issues so far. He was the first of the two angels to go into the tank.

Thanks for the info. My tank is pretty peaceful so I don't think adding the PBT would such a good idea. If I add any tangs they will go in last for sure.

The two angels get on just fine. I added the cherub first then after 4-6 weeks I added the bi-color angel. That was when I had a 65G DT. They were in there for about 2-3months then were moved into the 125G. They have been in the 125 since Nov 2014 and the only issue that I have had in the 125G was for a period of about 4 weeks the bi-color chased the cherub whenever they crossed paths but it was only mild chasing and nothing that I was very concerned about.

My advise would be to try it if you have a large enough tank with plenty of hiding places but be prepared to return the cherub if it does not work out. That was something that I had to be ready for too.

Good luck!

you should go to liveaquaria and look at the reef-safe wrasses. there are so many gorgeous ones and you could had several more in a tank that size.

I just got the "heads up" email from divers den and there is a flame angel fish and a juv Aus HT being put up for sale this afternoon - I thinks its destiny!

Do you think I can QT those two fish together? I have a 30G QT with PVC piping.

I will have to be prepared to remove the HT though if I see him showing even the slightest bit of interest in my helfrichi, shrimp and hermits.

You can QT those two in a 30g tank no problem. The Tusk will be about 2" I would guess so no problems with the fire fish. I have owned a few and they never bothered any fish, ever

Dam - lost the juvenile HT - i was in the process of checking out and it was taken before I could get it in time. I will keep an eye out though. Thanks for the help guys. I think I know where I'm going from here.
