new spot the fish guys

i nearly flipped my car over when i saw a new fish spot on western between division and north ave. from what i seen they sell custom tanks. they had dozens of huge clams in tanks by front windows. funny though i saw PC's being use. i think they're using the sunlight to supplement the lighting. stuff had prices so, i assumed they sold livestock. they also had a couple ribbon eels.

btw. i remember hearing about a LFS that was by lawrence and kedzie. i've been meaning to go but can anyone confirm that this place exists?

Psam, I think It's called Donna's something. Menard recommended it. I keep forgetting where it is, so I can stop by on my travels.

Donna's is on Lawrence. I don't remember the cross street (not Kedzie, but probably close by there), but it's on the SE corner of the intersection.

So would you happen to know hours? im going to stop by today after work to see if its open. This would be great if they get a good store going, its right by my work.

it closes at 8:30pm. i got there at 9:30pm so i was out of luck. i didnt see anything but tanks and live stock in the few tanks in front. i think they sell setups.

I stopped by as well and the door actually says they close at 7:30 but it was 6 pm and the store was not open. Maybe they are still working on their schedule. I couldnt see much but i did see that they have pc lighting in the clam tanks up front, I was astonished at the amount of clams in there, never seen so many together. Im going to see if i can stop by tomorrow at lunch time, see if i find the store open.

I stopped by Donna's when Menard first mentioned it. Super nice guys working in there, they had a small but decent SW selection. I wasn't in there with a purpose; I was driving down Lawrence and saw it so stopped in on the spur of the moment. I think if you have something specific in mind, it would make sense to call them to see if they have it/can get it.

Just stopped by the Fish Guys on Western Ave.. The store was closed and it was 5:30pm.. Looking inside it seems like a lot of big empty tanks. I hope they get live stock and corals.. I always drive by so one day I will get inside and ask what their plans are for the future..

I didnt bother today, instead i went to DLC with Eric way better than that a new store anyways. I saw one of the clams dead in the tank by the window yesterday.
