New tank pictures 90 days after set up

Well Some big changes for this tank. Last Tues I spent all night taking down the last of the metal Halides. After 10 years of religous Halide Use I have bit the bullet and built some LEDs for this tank. I have another thread with more details but i think this thread deserves and update. Here are some new sump pictures and a couple full tank shots just to show the change...

Some new images

Well its June and I added the LEDs last July I think. Its been about a year. Sometime in December the tank had an issue. This along with the light changes caused some issues with some of the corals. Most have recovered , and some are getting better than they ever were before under the halides. However, the 200 dollar per month savings and the cooler house and tank are worth it.

I am making big changes in next couple of weeks. I am addling an 8 foot by 4 foot by 28 inch deep sump in my garage that will be plumbed in line with the current sumps. I will move all my softies, LPS, anemones, and leathers out into the new "Lagoon" > I will have lots of room for my huge anemones and a mangrove forest. The new area will make processing the organics coming out of the big Angel Fish much more efficient.

Holy cow man nice tank and nice ride reading the thread.. I just randomly saw you link it in a response to a question and I just read the whole thing ;) . Absolutely love the tank any shots of your new lagoon if it's up and running..

Beautiful set up but have u had any issues with the angels and butterfly fish eating your coral ?
All my Angel fish would shred anything fleshy. Clams, gorgonians, leathers, small anemones, zoanthids. The tangs would join in the frenzy on about half that stuff. The tangs also mouth the slime off of the SPS constantly. Several of the Angels , especially the Emperator also bite the ends off of the SPS constantly. The SPS don't mind being grazed after they get an inch long or so. As long as they don't break off when they are young and small they are ok. They also move the frags incessantly which causes lotsa losses. Frog spawn, Dincans, anything like that lives in the sumps and will eventually move to the lagoon area. So no I dont have any issues at all with the fish and the SPS, but any other coral is going to get eaten. Its jut a lil more challenging keeping them this way.

I am close with the lagoon. Garage 80 percent done. Tank in place and clean. 30 mangroves rooting. Waiting on air condition installation. 12 bags of live sand with 80 pounds of dry aragonite sand standing by. Bout 4 hours of plumbing work and add sand and water......settle in and open a couple of valves.....

nice tank dude, but isn't that a little bit overcrowded?
No
Haven't had any complaints. Perhaps the 2 d photo looks a lil different and flatter than the actual 48 inch from front to back. The entire left side is actually a slope, not a wall as it might appear in a photo. As far as the fish , when these photos were taken it was 13 fish in over 400 gallons , 700 total now with the lagoon. They seem to do fine.
