newbie to anemones

Okay I have recently upgraded from a 75 gal reef that I had for 6 yrs to a new 240 gal reef (glass).
The tank has 400 lbs of LR & 150 lbs of Live sand.
I am new to the anemone aspect of reef keeping so please be gentle with your reponses.
Everything is great except for my LTA, it wants to make its home in the sand, is this okay?
I tried to trick her into a small rock circle until she planted her foot, but either she flips over or the clowns turn her upside down. Should I just leave it alone or can I somehow plant her.

i would dig a small hole and put the anemone int it then cover the foot back over with sand that should help but LTA are notorious for not attaching

Let it go to the sand, that's normal for LTA.
150lbs of sand in a 240 is a bit on the shallow side, you may want to build up where the nem is, or put a container of sand for it to bury it's foot.

Davocean thanks , I have 50 lbs more sand in a tub with 25 lbs of live sand, with heater and pump, gonna give it a week more. I was unsure if it could plant in the sand, I thought just rocks would be it's home.
