Here's my season so far:

Heh... my opossum isn't much better (Don't pay attention to the date. I always forget to set it)...

I do have a few turkeys, a couple small doe, one shooter doe, and one buck whose rack is hidden by a tree though.

can't wait to get out in the stand (been very busy lately).. going to be hard to beat last year's 16pt non-typical wall hanger.. got a beautiful shoulder mount done with it, looks awesome..

Just watched something truly sad. Couples does came out about sixty yards on other side of trees I'm in. Bigger one missing right front leg with a good six inches of bone exposed. Making it a mission to ease her suffering and prevent her from becoming coyote food.

Hey strangers! It's been a while but Im all in for the hunt this year.Haven't been out yet at all ,spent a number of hours re-sighting in a new bow . Shooting tight groups now and thionk Im ready to sit. Good luck everyone ,and Cully that's a hell of a deer your friend took.Congrats to the man, nice buck!

Saw this guy on my way to work this am, literally around the corner from my house. Pics don't do him justice, he was HUGE. Easily in the 120s.

Nice cully. Plan on sitting tomorrow. Puppies busted their humps today. No pheasant, grouse and woodcock played nice instead. God i hate multi flora rose bushes. Think i lost a pint of blood today. Cool weather feels great. Allegany county was stunning\ peak foliage. Finally starting to feel like fall.

Cold ,wet sit. Passed on a possum. Had nice bucks on the wrong side of the property line. Awesome moon this weekend. I would have been thrilled with a doe. Of course my friends who were holding out for 8 or better had does bed down under their stands. Really thought the deer would have moved better today. We didn't see anything after 8am.

lots of fresh scapes running the hounds, the tributaries are looking good, this years pheasant look fantastic.

That's an older deer, 3.5 maybe 4.5. Big waddle between his font legs. Nice gut. Aka....shooter

I was thinking the same thing. He's got the age, just not either the genetics or nutrition to go really big. You don't see too many bucks around my place that are that old when there is still daylight left to shoot.

The other deer in the first pic is a 6 point with a scrubby looking rack. Both deer are shooters though.
