Dave, what pump(s) are driving all this with? I have been considering a barracuda hybrid that I saw on brs. I feel like my iwaki 100 just dosent cut it anymore

I alternate between the Barracuda and Hammerhead Gold every couple years when I have to change out the seals. I prefer the flow of the Hammerhead for this size system, but the Barracuda gets it done too.

I have the photography skills of a rodent I need to get a reef friend over here one of these days as the tanks are looking really good with massive softy growth...very mature looking and they turn 5 years old this April Fool's Day

Thanks, not the acro dominated system I once planned, but much easier to care for in retrospect.

Hey Dave, few questions for ya. I have a build thread going in large tank forum at will be softy lps tank. Your tank is inspirational and I was wondering
1) is that massive skimmer on the softy tank too?
2) do you dose anything to the tank
3) what are your nitrates on that tank
4) anything else you wanna share

Yes, the massive skimmer is on a common sump with the 375g and 470g tanks. I was dosing vodka, then vinegar, but stopped because I didn't like the way some of my corals looked after dosing for a long time. Nitrate runs 30+ if I don't do water changes or run a sulphur denitrator. GEO is hooking me up with a custom denitrator as I type.
