Norwegian 133 g acrylic sps tank

Here's a couple of pictures.

Bought a new fish. I had to find a red one (I miss my flameangel) and I didn't want to gamble with a new flameangel.

Coolest fish ever! I love this guy already.

I am very satisfied with the ATB skimmer.

You will love the scarlet Hawkfish! I had one in my old nano tank. He was so funny. I love how they sit there are move their eyes like Chameleons and watch everything. :wildone: I had to take mine to the LFS after many months because my clownfish turned aggressive crazy one day and started to beat the Hawkfish. Excellent purchase.

That ATB Skimmer looks awesome. Always read much positive reviews about these.

I envy the space you got at the back of the tank.

Keep the upates going my friend. Definitely like reading your thread. :)

Nice to see that you are back on track. The Hawkfish is cool.
You are really gonna like having all your equipment NOT under your tank.

Hi! Sorry, been a while since I've been here. The Trigger is a Blue Cheek Female.

I'm still waiting for my Orphek lamp. I got an ich outburst in january and lost my PD and Powder Blue. Kinda de-motivated atm. Will be changing out all my liverock and give this one last try :)

Man I can understand why you would be de-motivated at this point. Sorry to hear you've had another tough blow like that.

Why are you changing out all your liverock?

Thanks. I'm going to change my liverock because I want to start at scratch. After the two crashes there are a lot of algea and other things that I don't want on my liverock. I've had these for a couple of years, and I think a change will be good for my aquarium :)

Finally got a package in the mail:bounce3:

My son found it interesting too:fun2:

Lol, the smiley on the first post was not supposed to be a smiley shooting another:eek2:

I've mounted it up, but I only have one Montipora Setosa and one Pokerstar Monti who is almost dead. So I have to wait until I can tell if this led unit is good enough:spin3:

The first impression is really good though. Can program four different channels with five different time settings, clouds and much more. There is also a couple of pre-programmed ones.

I started using the "slow acclimation" program.

From Orphek.com: "Program 1 was designed to be used for coral acclimation to our high intensity Atlantik Pendant LEDs and/or for introducing new corals into your system that may have come from a different lighting technology and/or different lighting spectrum and lower intensity. Program 1 should always be used when first introducing your new Atlantik Pendant to your corals."

I only have one little thing to complain about. The "joint" in the aluminum thing around the unit doesn't look as good as the rest of the lamp.

I would contact the retailer/manufacturer for some reimbursement or small partial refund since the lamp has a broken grill.

Hi Andreas, glad that you took the leap and got LEDs. I recently shifted to LEDs myself and let me tell you ,you will love the various colors you can make with them . Also they are very much unidirectional and thus will create lots of shades, which look very cool. Can't wait for your tank to grow out, I like this open aquascaping with lots of negative space. Keep the updates coming.

Here's a couple of pictures with the lamp in action.

The acrylic top couldn't handle the pressure? I'm getting a new one from my LFS.

I've thrown almost all of the live rock out. So I have a new rock formation. I will upload a picture when it is finished:bounce3:
