Dave,

Not sure how I missed this thread too...but, wow, excellent write-up and love the pics.
What camera rig are you using?

Drew, another good one...

BrentH,

Sorry If I sounded disappointed by meeting a new Brent H, not my intention at all. A pleasure to meet you, glad you are enjoying the thread, and thanks for asking about my health.

Humaguy/Ted,

Camera is a Canon 70d mostly with a Canon 18-200 lens. But I also have the Canon 105 macro.

In the next week I hope to borrow a Canon 35mm 1.4 with underwater housing and get to some top down photos of the tank.

Slief,

Get in the car and come see it in person, and pick up your new tang :)

Dave,
It was great finally meeting you and seeing your tank for the first time is person was really a pleasure. Absolutely stunning and your variety of fish is amazing! Thanks again for the tour and for the Atlantic Tang. He's already well adjusted and eating like he's been here for years.

Amazing thread you have here! Seems like a roller coaster ride with its up and downs for you. Its awesome to see you have never given up on the hobby and your tank is looking awesome. Thanks for sharing and hope to see more updates

Dave,

Amazing thread. I don't recall reading anything about an embarrassing accident with a saw while under your reef tank tho.

I can't believe that Deltec AP702 is still alive! It must be the most abused skimmer in Deltec history. Great to hear it's still running after 9 years. If you need parts for it I have thousands just pm me.

Macro Shots

Pulled out the Macro lens tonight... Here are some shots.

Blue Polyped Acro
Acro 1-1.jpg

I think this was given to me as a Tort, I have in down low in a low flow area and it is growing very thin branches.
Acro 2-1.jpg

This is a colony I got about 3 weeks ago. It's a Bali wild piece, I think it has big potential, but after carefully glueing and puttying it into the rockwork it broke loose and toppled into a bubble coral. So far a couple of branches have lost tissue where they were in contact, but the coral which I bought brown is starting to get some purple around the edges.
