Oceanic Tech Tank Owners Thread

Okay, I picked up a 90 tech. I will be using a 1260 eheim pump for my return. I am curious if the overflow that came with the tank run silent or kinda loud. If its too loud what did you guys do to remedy this. Maybe the Hofer Gurgle Buster?

I think if you had made the circle smaller, maybe more of a rectangular shape, and made it at a slant to look like 2 steps it would be sweet and easier to attach/sit corals on.

There are a ton of gaps an holes on that arch for some sps colonies. Im going to be putting sps frags in most of the holes, top and bottom. Once it fills out, it will look even better, but it already looks awesome, and that picture does it no justice.

The flow is unreal too. There is a K4 in the back right of that rock going through the opening, and the vortech. Nothing is getting trapped in that tank.

How's your 120g tech coming along - nanogurl?

It's looking awesome sitting on the floor of my living room exactly where I left it since I brought it home lol.

Congrats on yours!

Time to start on a new build. Enjoy :)

Larry, I have the same tank and it is awesome in construction, appearence, and design. The only problem is that Oceanic needs to make the same tank desing in a 180 g or larger!

Can you tell me about your Korallin C1502? Is it up and running? Any problems? I am thinking about getting one. what else did you order for/with it? Is it plumbed with PVC or flex tube?

Thanks

ssavader - The Ultimate series is very similar - starphire glass on the front and they have a 178 gallon, that I just ordered. Nice pics above! I can see them.
