I would be very concerned if my tank wobbled
I would contact Oceanic and ask them about there POS stand they made and if they are going to guarantee that the thing does not collapse.

The metal brackets that hold the glass panes on my stand are starting to rust. It's 3 months old. YIKES!!!

id be so ****d man... wow

i have the oceanic american oak stand, it makes thing more difficult because there is only a 16 wide opening to put in the sump and i had to drill the top for the bulkheads but no metal to rust and rock solid no wobble. i do like to look of it, im not a fan of glass doors if you have an illuminated fuge, my g/f doesnt want to see all the guts of the operation.

I think it should be ok as well but I just went to HD and bought two jack posts. I have to drain the tank anyway to add shims to the front right corner and will put the jack posts in at the same time.

That really sucks about the stand.

Killa, I think the lights are too pink. It looks fake, some of the rock has nice green and purple coraline, and you can't tell.
Im using 3 ati blue plus, 1uvl aquasun, 1 uvl 75/25, and a geismann actinic plus. I called reefgeek and they said I need to do a super actinic and a midday, since all of my bulbs are pretty much blue with a bit of red. I will expereiment [/B]

I think that's pretty much the bulb setup I have, although I ordered 7 in the end so I could experiment. I have an extra 12000k I think. No rock in still, so it's hard to tell.
With your Eheim, it's hard to tell, how did you plumb it up to the 3/4" hose? Or rather, what pieces did you use right after the pump?

Tank looks good, shame you're not close by, you need to add a shelf or two and I've got 80lbs of the stuff!
I've been looking at the next Reefkeeper.....oh dear, I can feel another $500 slipping away....

brit, I used a threaded 3/4" extension to a true union, to another extension, to a ball valve, to a check valve, to a 90 degree 3/4" to hose barb adapter, then tubing up to the top.

I have the 1250 and I can't find anything to directly attach to it because it's metric. I'm presuming you have the 1260 or 1262.
The only options so far are for me to use one of the two attachments and then either use 5/8th hose which is too loose for my liking ovre the male connection, or to use the female connection and jam in the hose and glue it. I'm beginning to think it was a mistake buying the Eheim.

Better pic too
