Octopus "Extreeme" Skimmer Line

hey jason is the outlet on the nw 200 pump same as nw150 pump for octopus skimmers considering buying a new pump for my extreme octopus 150 so i can mod it to pull out a little more gunk. gonna keep my pump but want one to experiment with was curious if bigger pump would work on 150 models.

I know there new version pumps will have a larger plumbing size, so those wouldn't work, but they should still have some older version pumps available.
 
between super Skimmer coralife 220 and a cotopus nw150 which is better?? In an aquarium of 90 gal heavy load, And what is the better nw 150 or int ps150

Yes, the 150 will have a new pump as well. They are actually here waiting for US Customs clearance, so hopefully about 1 week.

As to the COralife Super Skimmer, we were not impressed with that unit, there pump is not very good. The overall design of the skimmer was not bad, but they just didn't really skim very well. So we would recommend Octopus over Coralife.

For a 90g, the NW150 or DNW150 would make a great choice, depends on if you need sump or external. DNW150 is external and can run sump too though, it's a little more powerful, but the NW150 works very well if you just need a sump only skimmer.

Can the DNW150 be preordered now and will it still be priced the same as the former version?
 
It is necessary to Modify??I have a sedra 9000 which could into a nw200 who think, Or buy the NW150 or super skimmer coralife 220

Jayson, can you confirm that the new octo's you have for sale have the new unrestricted plumbing on them and new pump's?
