well it all started when someone way back after I set up my tank asked to borrow them. I sent them out, and then another reefer asked for them and they were passed along. This has been going on since I built my system, so I think maybe 5 or more people have used them. In fact, they just came back last week from mrcrab, and I sent them out again to Sparkss. I know kwl1763 used them and I think Sanjay as well...

Hey i have one of those aswell. Awesome at eating algae, but mine craps all over the place, i bet he takes up the same bioload as 2 or 3 tangs all by himself. Cute guy tho.

That sea hare looks way better that the one I've got cruising my tank. Mine looks like something that came out of the south end of a north-bound tang!

Do these little bugger like hair algae too? I tried lettuce nudibrachs but they did not put a dent in the HA.

Hop: Mine changes color and sometimes gets pale. I don't know why it does though. Does yours have blue eyes like mine, or brown eyes like Harry?

Bax: One sea hare in a 120g is all you need. However, you must keep an eye on it in case it dies. These things get toxic when they check out. Also, you might try to plan some sort of trading system with other local reefers. Sea hares are relatively inexpensive and can be passed around to rid multiple tanks of HA.

J: Brown eyes and he always has the same uh... soiled diaper color I see him once every few weeks like my shrimp. I thought they were all gone again and last night one went running by. You just never know what's in or left in your tank!

Hehe that is what mine does, when hes eaten all the algae in my tank and my wife's tank he gets passed along to fellow reefers in the local area, works great, just got him back a cpl of weeks ago after cleaning up a friends 180g on his own.

hey guys! Happy Holidays...Sherman came over and we discussed the finer points of what a tank room flood tastes like when you are passed out on the floor... we determined that it tatstes like mothing since you are passe dout and can't taste anything...
