Ok so what's the longest you've stood in front of your tank gawking.

Turned on my lights early this morning getting ready for my weekend water change and I stood there in front of my tank for like an hour just checking things out and I guess checking them out two maybe three or four times or more :lol2: Funny thing is every time I scanned it I saw something I didn't see the scan before lol. Finally kicked myself in the butt and got the water change done.

Wow I was beginning to think I was the only one here and getting embarrassed that I let the cat out of the bag :lmao: Come on Gary give it up how long :fun4: And jfl14609 I give up how long is a 6 pack. I can do a 6 in 30 minutes on a good night lol:beer:

I think the question should be "How long have you stood gawking at your tank, when the wife was out of town?".

The best is, "let me just reach in and grab that snail shell, or piece of algae, or adjust that coral...." 3 hours later your shirt is off, the living room smells like low tide, towels everywhere, tank is cloudy, glass is covered in dried salt water....MESS!!!!

I used to do that about every 3 to 4 weeks.

that is so true its not even funny. I literally just did that this morning. somebody knocked over a frag, so I went to fix it, and yes a couple hours later, that is exactly where I was at.

my daughter 14yrs old and her friends made pop corn and looked at my tank for a little over 2 hrs on Saturday night when they slept over while a movie they rented that I didn't want to watch was playing on tv

I made the mistake of putting a chair next to my Solana. So at night when its quiet, I pull the chair up in front with a nice drink and watch for a bit. Maybe about 30 minutes. But then again I have a smaller tank. When I had my 135 I used to watch easily for an hour.

I have a pub table so I easily lose track of time but I would have to say a 6 pack or so haha

Yep,pub table here and I lose track of time without a doubt or until someone calls clock abuse.
Im thinking going for the full man cave now that I added a small fridge....***.like adding a standup urinal::::beer:

I have a futon surrounded by my 2 tanks so I tend to feed after dinner and then watch and possibly pass out asleep and end up waking up at 2 am to go to my bed.
