yes it is working great. I also installed a new exhaust fan that does a complete air exchange in the fish room about every 3 minutes so heat & humitity are under control and air flows very nicely through the louvered door.

LOL thats a good pic, i love all the different kinds of fish in the tank. Your sand looks pretty white yet in the pic, do you have alot of sand siffting inverts in your tank.

Thanks. Yes the sand is lilly white, my pair of orange spot gobies do an awesome job working the sand. They're a pain in the neck in other ways since they dig themselves a new house every week but they certainly keep the sand nice and clean.

Yea i had the orange spot gobies in my tank for almost a year and as of Sunday it has dissapered, and i cant find it anywhere. Since then my sand has not looked the same so i agree they do keep the sand clean.

In my tank shots the caves and inner areas are always blacked out due to camera limitations. I have lots of large caves & swim throughs so I thought I'd get the flash going so these areas would come into view. Here's some of them along with a few surprized fish that happened to be cruising the lower regions at the time.

Mandarin spawn

The mandarins seem to do there courting ritual several times a week now after the lights start dimming for the dusk effect. I need to remember to turn the vortechs down next time because the poor things get busy and aren't paying attention to their surroundings and next thing you know they are in front of a powerhead & get blown all over the place and seperated. Then they have to find each other again and start all over.
