I've been reading alot of threads around its nice to be part of this community

i have 120g Salt water aquarium

lately i have Hair Algae problems i discovered the pump that came with Tropic Marin ELIMI-CONTROL not working after 2 months only from buying this product

anyway im trying to handle it now by changing water weekly 30%
i changed the media and pump now soon every thing will be ok i hope

got new Clown's pair wanna share it with you guys

just buy a foxface and a couple of turbo snails watch them tear that algae up
they did in my tank anyways

the clowns look good, if i didnt by my snow onyx pair, those were gonna be my next option

Do you have phosphate and nitrate controls? I use rowaPhos to bring down my phosphates and chaeto to bring down my nitrates. Both are almost undetectable. My old tank had hair algae all the time but the new setup with the media has never seen hair algae.

To help combat your hair algae, run some GFO. Bulk Reef Supply's GFO is a really good product and is much cheaper than Rowaphos. Phosban is another option.

Are you using RO/DI water? Have you tested for nitrates and phosphates?

Yes i added Phosban lately

chaeto its not available in my country hard to find them

receive them dead already im in Kuwait (Middle East)

i keep change water weekly ,, 3 changes done last 3 weeks

i have problem with NO3 its about .40 i dunno how to decrease it i tried to clean my sump and tank i dunno if Bio ball effect and raise because i have some

i switched to G-man bulbs 20k to avoid algea because i think my JPJ 14k expired been using them more than 1 year

Yeah i like them too it was very hard to get them and cost me alot
