Ora Misty purple acro

LFS just got these in today and they aren't on the ORA site yet. Anyone else seen them or have any larger oics of them yet? I picked one up but will need to wait and see a few weeks to see it color up.

That's odd. Because they usually post new upcoming frags and sometimes let people suggest or vote on the names. Hope it's a new one for ya though . I'll keep an eye out

Its one of the Marshall Island plugs that they got in witha bunch of the normal stuff

My Lfs got one in two days ago and wouldn't sell it until it "settled in". It was an enormous frag/ mini colony encrusted on a white ORA plug. They had it under led lighting and it was gorgeous. It was a soft purple with hints of pink and blue towards the tips. I definitely want a frag of it. Instead I was forced to get a MI Blue Bottle Brush frag, also enormous in size.

I picked a blue bottlebrush yesterday the blue is intense. looked it up on ora and the pic is pretty dull compared to what I have.

It has the same color as the coral in your avatar. Same coloration as the old ORA Purple Pillow.

I lost my MI blue bottle brush a few months back sadly. The LFS has not gotten any ORA frags in a while so waiting for some to come in again.

Here is a crappy cell phone pic of the ORA MI bottlebrush.

It is on a frag rack near the bottom of my tank under 20k Radium. Where are you guys placing yours? I don't necessarily thing it needs to be blasted with light.

I am waiting to hear directly from ORA regarding the Misty Purple. I deal with another LFS in my area and they are also checking their order lists for this week. As soon as I track one down I will post a pic.

BTW, ORA is also releasing another Marshall Island frag along with the Misty Purple. It is called the Cream Loripes acro. They should start showing up soon also.

let us know what they say . I had mine towards the bottom and moved it higher since the blue was fading . mine is under 400watt 20k xms. so not to much difference in lighting.

Well, I have my Misty Purple coming in next Tuesday. I will post a pic once it settles into my system. I got this info through my LFS and an ORA sales rep. Apparently the frag has a limited release and vendors only received 1-2 introductory xl frags. The frag is not being listed on current order sheets due to the limited availability, much like the other Marshall Island corals. ORA will be trickling this coral into the market over the spring and summer.
