Ordering filter bags. Anyone want in?

I'll take 6 of the 10 micron #1 socks. What's a good material for general purpose and durability? Polypropylene?

Dan,
Polypropelene Felt is the best for durability and seems to clean faily well. Are you doing general filtration or something specific with the 10 micron? You're going to go through all 6 of them in a week if you're keeping them in for regular filtration.

I went from 100 to 50 and change my pair of 6"x20" x01 socks every week to week-and-a-half

Alright yeah, they're just for general filtration. Maybe I'll stick with 50 micron. I couldn't remember what I used last time. Do you like the 6x20 size better than the 7x16.5?

the 6x20 was because the holder that I already had fit them better, but other than price and surface area, they're the same.

I'm stopping tomorrow to see what they have in stock and what they can get and I'll report back from there. Let me know what size and micron you're looking for and I'll see what they've got in stock or can get.

Let me know what they have - somewhere around 6x20 or 7x16.5 is fine in 50 -100 microns. Just going to be for basic filtration.

Around $3ea for the 6"x20" and $4 for the 7"x16" bags. Let me know how many and of what micton you want and I'll pick them up next week.

Last call for anyone that wants in.

So far I've got Willistein, for (6) 50 micron, sr07g6, for some 4" ones once I get the price, and wrasseman for 10 10 micron 7x16".

Just heard back about the 4"x14" and 7"x16" bags. Since it isn't something they always stock they would need to order them by the case of 50, so unless you want the whole case the only other option is the 6"x20". They sometimes have the 7x16 ones, but currently have none. Let me know if you're still interested or not and we can get them ordered up if need be.
