yeah... my friend just told me about an asian produce market in alhambra... i'm gonna look for everything on this thread...
and BTW peter... they do make carne asada pizza, and carnitas, chorizo, and they even throw refried beans on there... well.. pizza loca does all that stuff... i wonder if there still around...

Hands down the BEST tasting fruit God has ever created IMO. I've seen them sold in 99Ranch, Seafood Market, Island Pacific, and even at Trader Joe's. My friend says "Tien Phat" in Westminster carries them too. Now I want one!!

all this fruit talk turned into a huge debate yesterday with my salvadorian friend and my family... makes me realize that there is so much different stuff out there...
i grew up eating this one fruit we call membrillo... i guess it's a quince...?
another one is nance... i don't know what they are really called... but they are bomb with chili and lemon...
also, at my grandma's pad, she had a huge guanabano tree... this stuff...
another bomb diggity fruit is misfero... or i think they are called loquat... i dunno... i has a tree of they...
jocotes... but i've never seen these raw, always in candy form...
there's another fruit i can't find online... it was pronounced wuamuchile in spanish... i had a tree of them, they have a white meaty flesh and is dry/sweet/spicy all at once...
i also eat a lot of guajes... don't know what they are in engrish... but i have a couple of trees of these... they're bomb with beans and cheese...

La Pizza Loca is pretty good, The La Gigante it's like 32 slices or something. I think they got the idea from pizza hut's Big Foot. Does anyone remember that?. Anyway someone once told me they put asada on the pizza for free I think he was tripping though ever hear of that gumbii?.

guaje's are bomb... dude... i used to have a hammock in the back yard when it was all nice and walkable, and i would grab a branch and munch for hours... dude... seriously... corn tortilla+beans+queso fresco+GUAJES=BEST TASTING TACO EVaR!!!...
although i always tell people taco's are for poor people (and it's true) it kicks *** being mexican... hot tortilla + anything edible in the kitchen = snack-lunch-dinner...
