I guess one good thing that came out of the "Lawn Dart" was I am going to put a bigger fan unit in it :) Here are a few shots witht he 50mm wemotec in it. shoul have lots of power now.....

Man, I can't wait to see that little jet fly now. That will be FAST :)

Zach, according to my software, with the upgrade it should do 81 MPH :eek1: top speed yesterday was maybe in the 50's

I am going to glass it once I get the fan unit. I had to order it today. That unit in the pic is just for reference. Its going in the F-18 this week :)
 
I may head out there tomorrow Zach also. As long as the wind is not to bad. Got a small F18 and also the new fan installed in the Mirage. Hopefully air traffic control isn't there again :fun5: There is a RC Swap meet going on also at the fair grounds tomorrow, so may head over there also in the morning.
 
I might go Sunday but tomorrow my wife is going to a craft thing so I'm watching the kids. Sunday looks a little warmer too.

:lol: Hopefully not. I saw that swap meet, not sure if I'm going or not, I have accumulated too much already. Hah.

If Sunday looks warmer, I might head out Sunday instead. Then again, the next several months will be rubbish anyhow so I may as well get in the flying that I can :hammer:

Mike I don't think your heli qualifies as an indoor flyer at those speeds :D That thing is insanely fast.

It looks like a beautiful day out. I'm going to hobby lobby to exg a battery then to the field.
 
So did anyone do any flying today? I pretty much sat around with a headache all day. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
 
Not here. I sat around most of the day watching movies, drinking beer, and enjoying some tequila. Hopefully it's warmer tomorrow.
 
I went. It's was chilly, but not too bad. Wind picked up a little int the afternoon. It was nice, Only 4 of us were there. The cold took it's toll on everyones equipment. Robert had tail rotor issues on one heli and striped all his gears on the other. Rick (aka air traffic control) blew a piston on one of his. I crashed 2 jets :D.

I'll prob head out tomorrow also. I got another jet to fly.
