OT - Vietnam Vets

My hubby found out Friday that his heart attack 2 years ago was an effect of Agent Orange and he's now classified 60% disabled. Found out a few week ago he has tonsil cancer which spread to lymph node - this may also be from Agent Orange. Started chemo and radiation yesterday (for 7 weeks) but prognosis is good, and we are trusting God totally for 100% healing.

Ironic that he made it home after a whole year in Vietnam without a scratch and now 39 years later he's fighting the effects of war again.

Please keep him in your prayers.

If you know anyone that served in Vietnam, please tell them to go online and check the listing of other diseases of Agent Orange which may be compensable.

My husband has been my muscle when it came to helping with my tank, if need be can I call on my local reef buddies?

Sorry to hear this- I know others that have been affected by AO.

Anytime I am 70% disable from the Vietnam war I to have be sick but still here. So if you need help just give a yell anytime.

I could help anytime...I am a disabled vet also but.. From the Current Iraq war...Is he going to the Buffalo VA for treatment? Also i would give Tracy kin a call at the vet's center in Amherst NY, Really great lady fight for us vets when the system fail's. Will pm you here info if you are interested.

I wish the best for your husband. So many people take for granted our veterans and military men/woman and what they have done / scarficed for us with our way of life as Americans. I hope the best for your husband and hope he feels better. If I was closer, I could give you a helping hand.

He's being treated at Roswell for cancer and we love his current cardiologist so he'll keep those docs.

We were at DAV on Elmwood yesterday and got a lot of good info. If his doc says he's unemployable, he may be eligible for 100% disability. He's also got an app't to see a doc at VA Hospital on Bailey in December as all his meds will be free.

Thanks for prayers and well wishes; and THANKS to all you guys and gals on here that served our country. .:love1:

Sorry to hear that. I also know others who suffered from AO. I served from 67 to 70 but was assigned to West Berlin and never saw Southeast Asia. Thanks to all the vets noted for their service, particularly those with service in a war zone.
