Today myself and my better half set up the frag tank.
We started by drilling the drain holes for 1" bulkheads.

I had originally planned to run the rigid flex tubing through the wall, but due to some inconvenient placing of studs this just didn't work, they're visible now, slightly annoying, but i'll get over it.
After getting the system up and running we had to change the drains, one drain was not enough to keep up with the pump, even when flow was reduced, so both drains are now being utilized.

You can certainly find them better priced elsewhere. The stand was from Amazon with free shipping and i got the tray at a local Hydroponic store on Meeting St called Green Spirit. They have a ton of sizes, they have some HUGE ones. the 4x2 was $67.
They mainly sell black, a few white. I went with the black as it should really make the colors pop.
All thats needed now is lighting, then i can start putting frags in. I'm just watching the temperature in it now, to make sure that the GPH flow rate from the fuge is enough to keep my temperature steady.

Yeah, check it out, i'm sure they had one that was about 8 x 8, some of them are vast. I couldn't find anywhere online with free shipping for the tray, so you're best of going local for the tray. The stands 'flat pack', so a lot of places have free shipping on those.

The dark color of the rock in your DT is also very nice. Is the color just from coralline algae?

Thanks Mark! The rock was white when it first went in as I bleached it. The color is just how it's colored up since becoming 'live', it's not completely covered in coraline though, I have a urchin who makes sure of that!

Nice frag tank and the frags are sweet O. I found a local hydrophonic store here and they had them for $61. They have the stand for them also. Will it hold the water safely so I wont have any floods?

Here is an example that they sell here Steve.
A great addition to your hydroponics garden, this durable 70-gallon White Reservoir is made of UV-resistant ABS plastic and measures 54"x31"x12".
My only concern would be bowing.

The 48x24x5 only holds about 30 gallons. Pretty rigid plastic, they're designed to fill and drain with water consistently throughout the day. I have no fear that I'll have a flood from it. Fingers crossed.
