Paint for back of tank?

By the way, you can NOT find krylon at any Lowe's and home depot. I have never seen it at any home depot. Krylon can used used inside a reef tank once dry, that's why a lot of people recommend it. However, the outside back of the tank never touches your water. Therefore it doesn't matter what you use.

I haven't been to a Lowes or Home Depot since I found the Ace right down the road from my house and thats where I bought my last can. I just assumed it would be at the big box stores as well.

I am using plasti dip on my solana. I would go that route since you could peel it right off if you decide to sell and new owner doesn't want it or if you get tired of it.

I have seen it here too many times to not say this:

Do not spray paint your tank inside your house!

I had a 300 gal. a while back and I rolled the back with a black acrylic paint. Works better than spraying IMO and doesn't get all over like spray paint. Forget the brand I used but I'm sure you can buy it anywhere.
