My tank has cycled:), I had a good sized diatome bloom:D. I tossed in a crab free clean up crew last week and the tank is looking good. I added 4 tiny green chomis and a diamond goby. I just ordered my major stocking from blue zoo. I ordered a blonde naso tang a blue hippo tang a salfin tang , 4 true percula a flame angle and a cleaner wrasse. Should be a challenge to keep things in check until tank stabilizes. All fish are small so its not really that big of a bio load. I have around 60 lbs of live rock in the system. I have a softball size ball of algae and 5 mangroves that are growing. My octopus 3000 is producing so I'm pretty confident.

I was so happy to pick up my fish today. All are doing well except cleaner wrasse , doa. It's awesome watching them swim around. Sailfin and blonde naso are best buds. They spend every half hour on right side or left side of tank depending on which power head is on playing in the stream. Flame angle wanted to live in lawnmower blenny hole and was kicked out. He found new home on otherside. The 4 clowns swarmed together shortly after alcimation. After 4 hours they seem to be pairing up. Two of them are far bigger and seem dominate allready. All and all no spots or anything. I'm very very happy with my blue zoo purchase. Video tomorrow

Just found your thread. Tagging along now that I am caught up.

Live north of you in Fairmount. Looks good so far!

I've been watching my clowns and I think one of them is being picked on a little. I hope they can work it out as everyone else seems to be getting along.

I have had fish for 20 years and I have to say tangs eat like pigs on steroids.... And they poop big logs. I just placed another order for poop eating snails as I need them. All is well 0 nitrate nitrite and aminoa . I've been fighting ph but its just a open house closed house / ac on ac off thing. My ca was down to 350 this week but alk is holding strong at 9. I raised cal a little to see what happens. Everyday its 4 clowns check 4 chromis check 4 (well 3 tsngs and a angle) check. I group the big ones together:)

What gets me is I added this anemone to my 75 gallon yesterday and I know im at least a year away from putting one in my 240. The future is so bright but so far away. I'm watching awesome fish doing cool things while making big poops helping my eco system grow.

Im so happy everyone in my tank is getting along. I gave the tangs some nori today. Everyone wanted to join in on the fun.

Thanks, its been a lot if fun. I need to install carpet and move my desk in there. I don't get to spend enough time watching my fish right now. All in time I guess, that's what's keeps it interesting, always adding or changing things.

your setup is very similar to mine, a 540 in wall with fish room in the garage .....let me know if you have any questions I can possibly save you some time with .......really nice build so far.....

Wow, that is awesome build , I read for 15 minutes today. I'll do a full read tomorrow. That's really cool.

First coral. It's a super green torch coral. Maybe one or two clowns will take intrest in it

So far all fish are still living. The 4 chomis and 4 clowns are all getting along. Today during daily feeding I added some brown nori to the hanging rock. The blonde naso tour into it followed by the sailfin. Finally the naso ripped a chunk off and all three tangs took turns carting it around. All with no aggregation. The blue hippo tang seems the most timid but they all get along and none are afraid.

The cleaner wrasse I added today not only ate brine shrimp but its picking on Brown nori

Thanks, I have a long way to go. I'm hoping to add the oak wood and raised panel doors soon. I need to add some more LEDs to my fixture. All in time. I could rush it but than what would I do if it was all done
