Phizzle's 40g cube build thread

they're all healthy and fat. I was planning to reaquascape today, but forgot I had to go back to Modesto to replace the brakes on my car, so tomorrow i'll be aquascaping for sure. I bought a rock structure from the alternative reef (they have excellent customer service and gave me a free cooler bag when they shipped my piece) while I was at MACNA, but haven't had the chance to add it (cost $90). It'll make my tank look a little more open.

As expected, the tank is looking awesome! It's looking a little overcrowded with color though...my tank has plenty of space if you want to send some of those over here! HEHE j/k I can't believe the growth you've gotten since I've seen some of those frags! Great job buddy :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Oh yea...if you ever frag that orange crush acan...I call dibs!!! That was hands down one of my favorite frags I lost when my tank took a dive.

Update 10/11/10

I mounted some stuff to rock today, trying to make space in my tank. The rock structure thing I bought at MACNA from thealternativereef.com. They don't sell this stuff online, usually wholesales to LFS. These are made of ceramic and cooked in one of those fire things (dont know what they're called) Anyways, this rock structure was a little short for my liking, so I expoxied some rubble to the bottom of the feet, which adds about 3" in height.

the back left corner is a dump for unwanted rocks. I just need to finish mounting corals to make space, and probably sell some more stuff down the road. Hopefully this weekend I can get to it.

Possible surf n turf on the left? I'm not quite sure. I inherited this piece awhile back and never knew the name of it. Correct me if I'm wrong :)
