Luisgo, beautiful tank.
I can't believe the similarities in my tank and yours. Mine is also old, I had a few times where I lost most of the corals, my rock is also original and my tank was also featured in marine Fish Monthly magazine.
But, you have much more corals than I do.
Nice job.

Here I go again. This time lets have a trip back in time to some of my filtration setups. Not sure how many here will remember some of these equipments but if you are an "old time" like me you will have some fun.
Bioballs!! Polyfilters in the sump, Aquanetic 1/6hp, excellent chiller. It last for14 years!
My first lamp VHO's 160 watts each
What a skimmer, jeje..
For those of you that think that this is new technology check this in 1991.
Now we are talking about a skimmer!!! The monster SeaQuest ventury
No more bioballs.
Coralife ozonizer with Ocean Clear filter as a reactor
After the big leak.
Part of the rocks in the 55 gallon and part in a bucket but up and running again in just a few days.
Change to metal halides! What a change for the corales. 5,500K bulbs. jeje.
When the French Angel was small it was not picking at coral but it started to grow and it turned to be a problem with that. The other thing is that it started loosing the colors. They are native to the waters of Puerto Rico so they are readly available at LFS.
wow!!! You certainly weathered your fair shares of trying times with your tank... Love seeing how you stuck it out and kept on with it I see that you battled some hair algae, most times that will make one of us ( including me ) want to give in and take it down
Great thread, i remember the bio-ball days i still got a big bag of bio-ring in my garage. Like the early look with the caulerpa that was considered successful
