I don't think the quality of the shots is dependent upon the camera in this case, though the camera is a supporting actor.

The angle and framing is nice :-)
 
amazing video did you take that at night as well? cant wait for an update this mornimg as i sit here and look out the window for my rods clowns

P.S. thats not the onyx you had paired with the jigsaw is it?
 
yes it is jov :) its my original onyx from Rod 2 years ago. i had it paired up as a Female with the jigsaw in my avatar. they were together for about 9 months. showed all signs of dominance/pairing. etc. And as you know, i lost that clown from the hairy mushroom.

Than i found the new jigsaw and after 3 months, they spawned! :) so the clown i thought was a female, is the male of the new pair.

video taken at night also, so no background light.
 
The clowns are very nice. Congratulation on the spawn.
I, however, also see the very tip of a very beautiful anemone with the clowns. Can we get a picture of this anemone and some information on him? Thanks.
 
nothing special with rbtas. it since has split. one on top and one on bottom of the embryos.

wow... I knew I remembered that your rods was the larger in the last pair!!! Imagine my suprise to see it fertilizing the eggs... how strange that it never turned female with the other smaller clown with it?!??!

Oh...BTW I give your a super special congratulations for not breeding brother and sister!!!! the fish gene pool thanks you!
