Those are sponges.

They have 2 little antennae and they put out a mucus net/string. Spionid worms might be what you're seeing.

Turn's out that to be Vermetid Snails. i am out to worried about them on my lr. there are some on them stem of my of my candy cane and a favia. I super glued "gel" the tip's of them. will they die off and fall off coral or should i pull them off later?

Can't really tell. Could be little cup corals (hard base) or hydroids (soft or in between).

the bottom is squishy. not hard

Yes, ball anemone. They can sting so it's up to you if you want it gone. Looks to me like it's irritating those zoas.

Any Idea what kind of sponge. Are they considered a pest? TY

No idea what species but if you find it unsightly you can prune it back or pull it out.

Thanx Adrienne, that's how we noticed it, those zoas are normally wide open. Best way to kill it? Aiptasia X?

I can tell you that injecting them with lemon juice will just make them pucker up for a couple days, then bounce right back :lmao:.

Some of mine did move after doing that to them, though.

I see two, what look to be sweeper tentacles coming out from behind a rock. They're in the same spot every night. They're translucent, about 2", and retract when light is put in them. Wondering what this could be?

I'm attaching the best shot I could get. If you look in the middle from the white piece it's right there.

I found this on some live rock I got from LFS could someone please ID it? OR is this a nuisience? I've been told polyp or some type of mushroom there's 2 of them right next to each other TY :spin1: I'm new to hobby and forum

This little worm came from Tampa Bay Saltwater rock. The first picture is to give an idea of size. The snail is about the size of a nickel in diameter.

This is as good a shot as I could get through two feet of water. The body is white with black segments every eighth of an inch. The head/mouth is red with what appears to be appendages of some sort. Possibly a type of eunicid? Who knows.

@Badinfo. Mmm. I am not sure but those look a lot like some type of glass anemone. Most are pests with the exception of some Atlantic species.

im uploading 3 pictures of different *things* two of the pics are a side view and the other a front view of one of the things on my live rock and the other is a cluster of things on my live rock. all my rock and sand came form very well established tanks (to get mine cycled faster been up and running for some time now) i only have 2 maroons a bangaii and a six line in there aside form whatever these are.
