Pix & ID: Critters that come in your rocks: the good and the bad.

Ok, last one for a while I promise! This time it kinda feels like looking at the loch ness monster. This worm was very long, I was barely able to get a picture before he went back into the rock though. Is this a this thing looked wider and less "fuzzy" than my current bristlworms. Is it a euclid worm? I did not see the head so I don't know if it has the tentacles *sigh*

so i just bought a small piece of live rock. have all base rock and near the end of my cycle. the first two pictures are of a ~inch long translucent tentacle that comes out of a hole to filter feed? and retracts when i shine the light on it.

the second set is a weird one. i had a piece of rock on top of the live and saw something moving. then i picked it up and this fell out. its tubular with one end having a black appearance on the inside. i don't know if its dead or not because its not really moving and the current just took it when it fell out.

The first could be a harmless spionid worm, they usualy have 2 tentacles, the last looks like a dead peanut worm maybe. Some stuff is really hard to tell on the phone, blurry when I zoom in.

I've noticed a mushroom like item growing on my LR--it has a stalk and a lined top. My tank is less than a month old and is just finishing its cycle. This thing is growing even under these poor new-tank conditions.

ok so there's this critter in my tank that comes out only when one of my snails dies and basically eats it. it's yellow-ish and pretty long. should i be worried or....?

Here you go Sushi... It is flushed...

I found it attached to one of my SPS's.

Awfully long for Sphaeromotid. Never had the other but I thought they were shorter. Too many dfferent varieties out there!
