In case you haven't heard, the STL metro area has a new LFS, The Corner Reef in Columbia, IL. The store is open and nearing completion. The owner Steve (sbabs) is working hard to finish as much as possible before our visit. We'll meet at the store around 6:30 and then filter over to Reifscheinder's Grill and Grape (just a few blocks away) around 7:30 for some tasty wood fired pizzas and excellent  selection. We've already reserved their enclosed heated patio for the whole group. To cap off the night Tony (Tonblonga) has generously invited us over to his place in nearby Waterloo to hang and check out his tank. I'll let him chime in and provide any details.

A rare Friday night SLASH event! I'll see you all there! :bounce1:

I guess I will tell you a little bit about my family and I. I have been married for 7 years now to my wife Carla and we have a 4 year old little girl Taylor. She protects me from my overly aggressive female clown fish by yelling at her "don't bite my daddy!" My family:

I have a 92 gallon corner bow front and have had a reef tank for five years now. I started with 30 gallon cube in September 07 and graduated to this tank about two years ago now. My tank:

I do have a man cave with a bar, pool table, and poker table for entertainment, but unfortunately the tank is on the main floor and the man cave is in the basement. My man cave:

From reading the posts on pizza nights I know some of you like exotic beers, but I am a pretty boring beer drinker and will have the fridge stocked with Bud Light and Miller Lite. There are couple 1/2 gallon jugs of Captain behind the bar and a few vodkas. Assuming everyone will have eaten, we will probably have a few dips for munching, but didn't plan on doing much for food. PM and I will send you my address. For any golfers out there it is not far from Annbriar golf course. See you all then.

Sweet Tony! I've always been of the opinion that any "true" Man Cave must include several dead furry creatures. Beth and I are looking forward to this one.

Tank looks great Tony! I'm getting psyched up for this one, new night, new store, and new tank to see! Not to mention, man cave!

OK, I a really going to miss not being at this one! I think I need to get a few dead, furry creatures to put up on my walls too:lol: Sweet basement!!

Yep, that's it. Absolutely NOT required but it doesn't hurt to post up a thread telling us a little about you and your tank before you come out too. ;)

Well, if you guys didn't want me showing up, you shouldn't have made it for a friday, cuz my night is wide open! See you guys there!

I sure hope I can make this one. I have seen Tony's place in person and it is very nice:thumbsup: It is truly a man cave.

Me and my wife will be there as well. I'm looking forward to meeting some of the people Ive been chatting with here on the forums
