For all who want to attend, we are going to meet up at Gateway Aquatics between 6:30-7:30ish, then head down the street about 3-4 miles to Cusanelli's for some fine thin crust pizza.

Afterwards, anyone wanting to see the tanks with water flowing can stop by my house....skimmer is heading back from Casa de Geo, so it should be here in person and its entirety if shipping goes well:D

I will be especially careful this time:lol:

Thanks for having folks over last night Dave. It's always nice to visit your place when I'm not expected to work.

The skimmer is a MONSTER and I really think you could hurt yourself with that one. It might be best if you were to give me that one and let me give you something a little safer.:D

I hope you guys had fun. I was doing the exact opposite of stuffing my face with pizza, cutting weight. I cut 9 pounds in 24 hrs, not fun. I made weight this morning, tournament starts tomorrow.

So when is the next Pizza Night? I promised the wife I wouldn't fight again until February, so I'm good to go eating thru the holiday season :)

I NEED to see that skimmer!

Dave great set up as you know. I appreciate you having us over and I hope that in the future I can see your finished product. Oh yeah sorry for the beer spillage. HAHA

It was great having everyone over to show off the tanks, skimmer, etc. Better than working on the tanks for sure:D As for spilt beer...that is simply alcohol abuse:beer:

I got some ideas after you guys came by, so I have some more work to do before I am ready to go. I need to find someone who can weld a stand for me to fit over the smaller sump. I am going to put a 120g tank over that area I think. I just need to find a deal on one and drill it.

Dave, thank you for having me over! I had a great time. By the way... what is that skimmer rated for? If I had to guess I would say it's good to gobble up pets and unsuspecting children.

Yeah we have some qualified tank drillers/demolishers in this group!! LOL

What will you use the 120 for Dave?

I'm pretty sure the skimmer will handle my tanks...but no idea what an official rating would be:D

BTW,

[welcome]

Dave,

If your serious about the 120 how tall does the stand need to be and what foot print. There is a metal stand at work that use to hold 300 gal plastic totes. Don't know the dimensions off hand. It might be too big/long for the area. Monday I'll measure it up if someone hasn't taken it yet.
