Hi,
I'm relatively new here, have the tank finishing it's cycle now. It's a 29G with about 38lbs of rock (5.5lbs fully cured) and about a 1 to 1.5" aragonite reef sandbed. I don't have a full list yet as I'm still researching but I do know of the first few.
2 Occ clowns (definite)
1 Watchman Goby (definite)
1 Pistol shrimp (to hopefully pair w/ goby) (definite)
1 Bangaii Cardinal (probably)
1 six line wrasse (maybe)
In general, it is always most passive first, most aggressive last. The six line wrasse is definitely the most aggressive early on. The clownfish, once sexually mature and bonded and mating will eventually be. However, five fish will consume the space on your tank.
Question is...which go in first? I was thinkg watchman and goby, then clowns and then cardinal. I'd love to have the clowns first for obvious reasons but heard that some may be territorial so adding them when there is already fish might be better. If I do get the wrasse, that's last because of it's history of aggressiveness.
Clownfish (A. occellaris) will not be territorial until they have sexually matured and then bonded
(I'll first add a small assortment of CUC's a week or 2 before first fish)
Thoughts/Opinions? Thanks in advance!
