Wow! That sounds like a really nice setup. If you don't mind me asking, how many and what types of leopard wrasse do you have in there? Leopard wrasses are stunning and amazing to observe, but definitely require a lot of planning and care

I do not normally talk about my tanks, my role here is to be helpful only. Macropharyngodon bipartitus male (transitioned from a female), Macropharyngodon geoffroyi female, Macropharyngodon choati female.

A flasher wrasse needs a larger tank because it is a very active fish. As such there is a high probability that a fire fish would be intimidated. Also, a firefish and the existing flasher wrasse are prolific jumpers, FYI.

The tank is covered so jumping is not a problem.

Oh ok, sorry for asking. That's very impressive though, and thank you for all of your help.

I started my first salt marine tank, about 210 lt +60 lt sump, i love reef too beside of my fishes, how many fishes and which type can i have???

It is an unanswerable question as it depends on fish size, fish behavior, fish ecological niche. If you provide a stocking plan, I will be happy to analyze it for marine fish compatibility with your provided environment.

Steve,

is it compatible to keep one Platinum Percula Clownfish with one Black Snowflake Clownfish??

thanks

Despite a differing appearance (phenotype) the species is the same and it will work fine provided both fish have not turned female.

Steve,

I have ran this list past you before and just wanted your opinion on how much fish could safely be kept in a 100g CADD Lights Artisan (48x24x20). Would I be able to add 5 Green Chromis or Cardinals to the stocking list below or would that just be too many fish in this size tank?

1- Longnose Hawk
1- Royal Gramma
2- Ocellaris Clown
1-Orange Back Fairy Wrasse
3-Disbar Anthias
5-Green Chromis or Cardinals
1-Horned Blenny

1-Mandarin
1-Flame Angel
1-Purple Tang

Thanks again for your help and advice.

cardinals would work, green chromis would end up being only one long term. But the cardinals will pair off longer term and not remain as a group. If you add anthias instead, they will continue to "group" to some degree.

I have a 20L with 20 lbs of live sand and 20 lbs of live rock with a hang on back filter. Pretty basic setup as I will be upgrading one I move in January. I was looking to get a clown, and an anemone for sure and was looking at possibly an eel or a puffer. Any comments? I have yet to thoroughly research fish selection as I just set up my tank yesterday!

A 20 gallon tank cannot sustain an eel or puffer. It can sustain a small clownfish. When you upgrade, you can consider other animals.

IM Fusion Nano 20

15 lbs of sand and about 14 lbs of pukani rock. IM desktop skimmer. Might do full zeovit.

Planned stock:
High Finned Red Banded Goby
Purple Firefish
And maybe a Clown Goby

Thoughts?

Should be fine.

Biocube 14 w/ live rock, sand, and some corals. No sump, but has protein skimmer and UV sterilizer.

Currently has:
Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
2 Red Moon Snails
A few hermit crabs (that will likely be exiting the tank when they get big enough to kill my snails)

I want to add:
1 Firefish (I like the Helfrichi, but not decided on that yet)
1 Gramma Basslet
1 Ocellaris Clown

Does that sound okay or should I stick to only two of them?

I would not do a clown fish, but the other two are fine
