No, you have additional bioload. Howeverthe clowns when mature are going to be very aggressive towards water column fish. Remember the Harlequin shrimp only eats starfish legs.

I'm new to the salt water aquarium. Though it has been very therapeutic for me when I have it in my presence. I was in a really bad accident and have some loss of memory... but for some reason... these saltwater aquariums and along with the beauty of the fish and corals are amazingly stunning. I have a 90 gallon deep blue. I paid someone to come help me and he never showed up. He took my money and now I have to seek and take further action.

Basically what I have in it right now are some live rock..about 4 pieces and along with that some dead coral ... at one point it was all white.. but now has and is turning shades of brown. I don't know how good this may be or if it is harmful.

I am one month and a week exactly into cycling the tank. I have a total of eight damsels left out of sixteen in total that I started with. I loved it when the tank looked clean and white.. meaning the corals etc etc. I know I'm a little slow with all this but i need help.

I have grown to care for even the starter fish. My salinity is 1.020 at the moment. I have a RED SEA Marine care test kit. It has Ammonia, Nitrate, Nitrite, pH and Alkalinity. I just need a little help here.. I don't know what levels are normal.

Basically I need help. A good friend of mine had recommended this site for me ... he used to have a 450g tank but he's out of the game now due to being full time busy. But I did hear everyone that does know about this site.. well.. they all speak and spoke very highly of it.

I understand the puffer may try to make a meal out of my inverts, but should I be concerned about compatibility with the other fish?

Between the two, the cowfish will grow significantly larger. Is 120g large enough?

I’m leaning towards the cowfish, but your insight is appreciated.

Okay, here's my final stocking scheme for my 65g with 20g sump with Reef Octo skimmer. The only problem I see is with the wrasse/mandarin...I was planning on getting an ORA mandarin or one that is already eating frozen. Everything else look okay ?

2 Bangaii Cardinalfish
Mandarin (will be added 3/2013)

Inverts include various snails, staghorn hermits, fighting conch. I would like to add a cleaner shrimp and a tuxedo urchin when the tank is a little more mature. Corals are pretty much zoa's, shrooms, & LPS if that makes a difference.

The track record with ORA mandarins is not good, in fact wild caught have a much greater chance of success. Just because mandarins may eat frozen, does not mean that they will survive unless there is sufficient copepods in the tank since they eat pretty much constantly.

Live rock (with 5+ bristle worms, 10+ dwarf brittle star fish, and APTASIA (almost all gone 2 left))

4 peppermint shrimp
4 Ocellaris Clownfish
2 Cinnamon Clown Fish
6 Snails (2" to 3" in size (each))

My levels are good and have stayed stable. I added a few at a time with 1+ week between each to maintain bio-load balance.

Someone else said that I have too many clowns and too many chromis. Clowns do better with just 2 and the chromis will widdle each other down to just one... (really??)

I am looking at getting 2 enomonies and eventually a few coral frags for color.

What do I need to take out or worry what might be floating? No one is fighting and they have all been friendly for 2+ weeks together as a group.

Both statements are (almost) correct. You will end up with at most 2 clownfish (I would bet on the cinnamon clowns) and at most two chromis.

Want to add. That is too many fish. When sexually mature the clownfish will want to control the tank. The damsel will be aggressive towards new water column fish

1-Yellow Watchman Goby Fish the watchman goby and lawnmower blenny should work out subject to the damsel allowing them to exist.

I would not with the possible exception of the coral beauty; the flame angel will chase for a while, however.
